I called to request information about an upcoming event, which I needed prior to the event (not immediately). I had the great misfortune to speak with a social worker who seemed to be looking for a fight. As soon as I said I needed to know what would happen prior to, not five days after, the event, she began berating me. I have never experienced such an arrogant, antagonistic person in a service position intended to provide help for families. Apparently questions from worried parents trigger her, because although I was simply asking what would happen she responded as if I was demanding a specific action be taken. I cannot imagine why she is in social work at all, but I am sure there are more suitable specialties within her profession where she would not have to burden herself with legitimate questions from worried parents.
