Genesis II, Caton Village: Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program

A long-term residential treatment center for drug and alcohol addicted pregnant and parenting women. Average length of stay is 9 months. Service capacity is 20 women and 40 children. Maximum number of children per mother is two, between the ages of birth and 12 years. Services include individual and group counseling, parent/child counseling, family therapy, child care, foster grandparents, sexuality groups, family planning, social and cultural activities, TREM Group - Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model, family literacy activities, and Family Planning Council weekly GYN clinic. Education components consist of Adult Basic Education courses and GED preparation. The program refers clients to appropriate aftercare services. Insurance accepted: Member of CBH system, BHSI, Forensic Intensive Recovery. Referrals are accepted from hospitals, detox units, women's treatment programs, prisons, churches, and community agencies, as well as self-referrals.

No income eligibility requirements. Must be 18 years or older, and female.
