Each year PDDC supports nearly 400 people with developmental disabilities (and other disabilities) develop the skills they need to lead independent, self-directed lives. An affiliate of the Arc of Philadelphia, PDDC continues a six decade tradition of providing high quality day programming. VOCATIONAL OPTIONS Job Training : Build basic job skills in a closely supervised, therapeutic environment Community Work Teams : Work in a supervised work group in the community Competitive employment : Get a job in the community - with one-to-one support Employment Partners : Job training and development for anyone with an obstacle to employment (funded by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation) DAY PROGRAM OPTIONS Cultural Arts : Express yourself artistically - and build your social and interpersonal skills Seniors : Retain skills in a therapeutic day program for older adults IN-HOME / COMMUNITY SUPPORTS Community Supports : Learn community-based skills such as travel training and money skills - in the community.
