Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Narcotics Addictions Rehab Program

A 12-week outpatient treatment program serving cocaine and other substance abusers (e. g. alcohol, amphetamines) as well as dually diagnosed patients. The program is designed for persons not requiring hospitalization or residential services but who need more than once-weekly outpatient psychotherapy as well as people moving out of detoxification, inpatient care, or rehabilitation facilities. There is no waiting list and the location is convenient for bus and auto routes. Program Features: Assessment for appropriate level of care, Intensive outpatient group therapy 3 times a week for 12 weeks, Psychiatric and medical assessment, Individual therapy, On-site 12 step meetings, HIV/AIDS prevention workshops, HIV/AIDS testing and pre- and post-test counseling, Structured activity groups, Referral services, After-care groups.
