Variety-the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley's mission is to enrich the lives of children and young adults with disabilities through social, educational, and vocational programs that nurture independence and self-confidence, and prepare them for life. Variety's after school programming is located at the Widener School in Philadelphia and Overbrook School for the Blind. Additionally, Variety holds a satellite summer camp at Temple University. All Philadelphia based programs advance Variety’s mission through educational, recreational and social enrichment activities. Variety encourages all children to participate to the highest level of their abilities, learn new skills and make new friends.
