Women Against Abuse: Domestic Violence Emergency Safe Haven

Women Against Abuse provides two 100-bed emergency safe havens for survivors of domestic violence and their children. The safe havens – which have confidential locations – are a refuge to approximately 1,200 people per year for 60-90 day stays. The safe havens offer comprehensive on-site supports, including case management, children’s services, trauma-informed behavioral health care, 24-hour security, three meals a day, and housing placement planning/assistance. Admission to the safe havens occurs through the Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-866-723-3014. Women Against Abuse has a contract with CBH to provide behavioral health services at the safe havens.
