Wordsworth provides education, behavioral health and child welfare services to children and youth who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and academic challenges. Wordsworth provides the following services: Approved Private School offers a high quality educational experience for students with a variety of challenging behavioral, emotional and educational needs. SPIRIT offers a high quality educational experience for lower functioning students designed to help them achieve a high level of self-sufficiency and academic potential. STARS Education Program offers year-round Pennsylvania State Standard based instruction while students are receiving therapeutic treatments in the Residential Treatment Program. Hope Springs, an Acute Partial Hospitalization Program provides a comprehensive day treatment and education program in a safe and nurturing environment to assist children, ages 5 to 13, experiencing acute emotional and behavioral issues. Family Based Mental Health Services offers team delivered services in the home and community that integrate mental health treatment, family support services and casework. Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services offers medically necessary behavioral health services in home, school and in community settings including one-on-one behavioral support, mobile therapy and behavior consultation. Multi Systemic Therapy for Problem Sexual Behaviors offers intensive, home-based treatment for youth with problem sexual behaviors. Foster Family Care offers a temporary out-of-home placement for children and adolescents in a safe, stable and nurturing environment. Treatment Foster Care offers safe, caring families for children exhibiting more serious behavioral and/or emotional needs. Community Umbrella Agency (CUA), part of the Philadelphia DHS Improving Outcomes for Children (IOC) initiative to strengthen child welfare services. Out-of-School Time Programs offer academic, social and recreational activities for children and youth during after school and summer hours from public school locations in Philadelphia.
