BRIEF: Lewis County Veterans Advisory Board Seeks Member to Fill Vacancy

Dec. 09--The Lewis County Veterans Advisory Board is looking for a volunteer member to fill a current vacancy.

The board advises the Board of Lewis County Commissioners on the needs of area veterans and how to best direct resources to aid them, according to a press release.

The applicant must have an honorable discharge from the military. A copy of his or her DD214 form must be attached to the application. A background check and an interview will be conducted before a recommendation for appointment is made to the commissioners.

The board meets at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Public Health and Social Services building, 360 NW North St., Chehalis.
