JEVS Work and Recovery Services supports adults who want to take charge of their recovery from behavioral health challenges. Programs include Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Outpatient Psychiatric Treatment, Intensive Psychiatric Outpatient Treatment, Community Employment Services, Medically Assisted Substance Abuse Services, and Community Homes. Based upon the fundamental belief that people with behavioral health challenges can achieve the same goals and dreams as others, JEVS offers support for any aspect of a person's life. Whether it's finding work, going back to school, building relationships, living independently or with support, managing symptoms, or coping with everyday stress, participants focus on the areas of their choice. Using services and approaches proven effective in recovery, JEVS offers expertise in a wide range of areas with interdisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, educators, therapists and peer specialists. All programs are community based, with an emphasis on community participation. Participants are encouraged to choose the services they need to create their own path to recovery. JEVS also serves people with co-occurring disorders. JEVS is one of the largest, private, not-for-profit organizations in the Delaware Valley, serving over 20,000 individuals annually. Founded in 1941, JEVS Human Services offers a wide range of services for adults with intellectual / developmental, psychiatric, and physical disabilities, Autism and other challenges such as addictions, disease and socioeconomic disadvantages. Services include vocational assessments, job training, job placement, job coaching, career exploration, work readiness day programs, and school-to-work transition.
