Fresh Start Merakey is a life saver. Whether it be shelter through harsh winters, administration of Narcon, or intro to Recovery. Recovery is process and whenever I see a person in recovery blast and organization who's desire is to help individuals I suspect a resentment. And people on recovery , what is the number one offender of relapse? It is resentment. Good day to all

Review applications should have a zero star option. Fresh Start on Tioga Street, from management down to the residents, have displayed the most disturbing and unprofessional etiquette, demeanor and behaviors I have ever witnessed in the 8+ years in recovery, being highly involved with various rehabs, detoxes and recovery houses in all sections of Philadelphia. I am grateful for the recovery houses which are run ethically and by individuals who are aware of what it means to professionally speak to residents, their families as well as anyone else. I always try to recommend different houses to the men and women we help, and I regretfully have to say I have informed those whom I work closely with placing residents, to cross Fresh Start off the list. I hope in the future you train your staff to have business minded polite conversations with those inquiring about anything. You are there to gently and kindly help all involved in a huge life change. Not just collect a paycheck.
