The Pro-Cycle is a hand propelled three-wheeled cycle for adults and youth. FRAME: The chrome-moly tubular frame is custom built to the overall height of the user and ranges from 30 inches to approximately 38 inches to suit riders 4 feet to over 6 feet. The wheelbase is 30 to 38 inches and frame length is available in 30, 33, 35 or 38 inches. The frame is available in a an array of standard and custom colors. SEAT: The chair style seat includes a 6-point adjustment, adjustable seat and back upholstery, adjustable height back (12 to 16 inches or 14 to 18 inches), and positioning belt. Seat width and depth are customized to the user's daily chair or to user specifications. The seat positions the rider in an upright sitting position with feet resting on an adjustable foot platform. POWER INPUT: The adjustable height handcrank features a chain guard (full or partial), one or three chain blades and parallel handles with vertical handgrips. Parallel handles produce a rowing motion when propelling the cycle, and are safer than the traditional opposed pedal configuration that can cause wobbling of the cycle at high speeds. Quad cuffs are an available option. WHEELS: Three, 1 in front and 2 in the rear. Standard wheels are 26 inches and will accommodate high pressure tires or mountain bike tires. Wheels on the Jr. Pro-Cycle are 20-inch wheels with knobby tires. The rear wheels have quick-release precision allow hubs. Options include 26-inch racing wheels and tires. BRAKES: Hand parking brake. GEARING: With one chain blade, combined with the high/low drum, 14 speeds are possible. With three chain blades, 42 speeds are available for all terrains.
