The What Should I Wear? Language Kit, model LK-WSW, is a independent living skills, personal skills, and language tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive disabilities. Focusing on what to wear in rain, sun, wind, snow, clouds, or fog, this kit includes a book written with limited vocabulary and repetitive lines using Mayer-Johnson Picture Communication Symbols; an interactive computer book that combines text, pictures, speech and sound; and a songboard, word cards, and vocabulary games. Concepts are introduced in the book and songboard. A follow-up Classroom Suite activity helps students practice matching the appropriate weather-related apparel to the forecast.
