Stickybear Math 1 Deluxe

Stickybear Math 1 Deluxe is a math tutorial program designed for children from pre-kindergarten through second grade who have cognitive or learning disabilities. This program teaches children addition and subtraction, beginning with the most elementary addition problems and continuing through more complex addition and subtraction with regrouping. Animated instructions offer a skill-building tool that can be customized for one child or a group of children. The program is divided into eight levels which include 44 individual math skills. Each level provides animated help screens with audio to teach and reinforce addition and subtraction, missing addends and subtrahends, and regrouping. Teachers or parents can allow automatic advancement; present only addition, only subtraction, or both. When a series of correct answers is entered, animations appear as a reward. Teachers can track students’ progress and reports are available for each student on screen or in printed form. The school versions and above also come with freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters. Available languages are English and Spanish. COMPATIBILITY: Windows or Macintosh.
