The Liquid Level Indicator is an audible liquid gauge that helps people who are blind or have low vision know when the liquid they are pouring into a cup/pot is nearing the top. Place the two hooked metal prongs over the rim of the cup with the plastic indicator hanging on the outside of the cup. When the liquid reaches the prongs’ tips, the indicator will emit a patterned staccato of three consecutive beeps, alerting the user that he or she is nearing the top and should start slowing down. When the liquid is one inch away from the cup’s rim, the Liquid Level Indicator will emit one single continuous note, informing the user that he should stop pouring. To clean, wipe the metal prongs with a clean, damp cloth.
