The Phoenix™ is a multi-adjustable chair designed to meet the long-term needs of a progressive condition, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, advanced dementia, and osteoporosis. This chair’s tilt in space mechanism offers the user with postural support-particularly for the upper body-and pressure distribution which can help prevent pressure sores (a condition that can develop as a result of sitting in one position for an extended period of time). The Phoenix™ chair also features a fully adjustable head rest, seat, back, arm rests, leg rests, and foot board; removable arms to facilitate side transfers; and a waterproof, stain-resistant, and flame-retardant vinyl covering.
