Typio Typing Tutor

The Typio Typing Tutor is a typing tutor. It is designed to be used by students who have learning disabilities or students who are blind. Typio is entirely audible and also can be highly-visual. Typio offers student statistics that keep track of student progress and can help in defining IEP goals. It offeres a customizable interface that can be used to create a distraction free learning environment for students of all needs level. There are three typing modes, progress mode, free type mode, and practice mode. Progress includes 45 typing lessons that cover the entire keyboard, it automatically saves progress and allows the parent or teacher to set goals for the student to meet. In free type mode the student can type freely without prompting from Typio while still collecting statistics on the student. The reports in this mode share the students statistics as well as the exact body of the text the student typed. In the practice mode students can review the lessons already completed. Parents or teachers can also create custom lessons by copy and pasting text from any where. 

Typio Typing Tutor has many different accessibility settings. The visual enhancements include different font sizes, different color options for text and backgrounds and a customizable user interface. The audible Feedback includes customizable speed and pitch of various voices, audible presentation prompting of type prompt, audible feedback of key presses and can be used entirely without vision.
