Mouse Marker Holder
The Mouse Marker Holder is designed for student's with upper extremity and fine motor disabilities to draw with ease. This one is made from an old computer mouse. I have taken out the insides and inserted a burfab (velcro friendly material) band. The student's hand is placed on the mouse and the band is closed over their hand and velcroed snuggly. Once they have chosen their color of marker, it can be inserted into the holder on the front of the mouse. They can now slide it around the page.

The Sliding Marker Holder is designed for individuals with grasping disabilities to hold a marker while doing art. This marker holder is made from plexiglass and lifted up off the page with 4 small legs. The marker is inserted into the holder and it can be knocked or slid around the page without disrupting the marker. For some students, use of this will be the first time they have independently made a mark on a page.

These Paint Brush Holders have been made with a ball grip and a T grip to make them easier for a child to grasp. I cut the paint brushes off short to make them easier to use. This one has canisters the user can refill so they can be filled with different color paints and switched out.

This is an adapted chair made of corrugated cardboard, glued and laminated 5 layers of open boxes and then all cut out with a knife. Then the pieces were hot glued and taped in place. To finish the chair, it was covered it with paper mache and painted.

The Reclining Chair Pic Syms is a custom adaptation for a reclining wheelchair designed for individuals with severe physical disabilities to use in a classroom setting. This was a custom piece done for a student who was in a reclining chair for most of the school day. This rested snuggly on the arms of the recliner and was adjustable to the proper angle. A2B Tricycle
The A2B Tricycle is a custom adaptation designed for children with upper and lower exremity disabilities to mount easily. The tricycle allows independent use for play, while also providing rehabilitation solutions. For now, it is just a prototype. But there is perhaps a wider market for it. Many of the design features – such as the two wheels in the front and the chest plate, which one could imagine lowering for a racing car effect – would be fun and functional for any child.
