Navy veteran joins dental practice in Hampstead

Star-News - 2/13/2021

Feb. 13—Adam Frank of Holly Ridge will join the practice of Hampstead Dental beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16.

A Navy veteran and graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, Frank returns to the area he fell in love with after being stationed at Camp Lejeune.

After his undergraduate schooling at UC Santa Cruz, Frank was granted the Navy's Health Professional Scholarship. Immediately following dental school, he attended Officer Development training in Newport, R.I., and did a Navy General Practice Residency in Portsmouth, Va..

When he was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, he fell in love with the coast and knew that no matter where he was sent next, he would be coming back to the Carolinas.

Hampstead Dental owner, Charles Schein says, "I was thrilled to not only learn of Dr. Frank's education in dentistry, but also of his time served. Navy dentists are known for receiving a high level of clinical skills, combined with his great personality, I think our area will appreciate all that he has to offer. I knew he was the right fit almost immediately."

Frank has been married for four years to Kate. Together, they have a 1-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old dog. When Frank is not in the office, he can be found playing sports and other outdoor activities such as hiking, running, snowboarding, and sightseeing.
