Mental Health Partnerships - ACCESS - West Philly

The Philadelphia Department of Social Services, in partnership with local communities and providers is working to end homelessness by 2021. To do so they have set up access centers that offer resources for people who may be experiencing mental illness or addiction as well support services such as case management , psychiatric care psychological counseling workshops provide opportunities where clients can get connected again while also receiving necessary medical attention when needed . The goal here being not only help those immediately needing assistance but teach sustainable methods on how one might live healthier lives without relying solely upon government supportsThe idea behind this whole initiative has been Inner City
