Since 1973, Valley Forge has dedicated its resources to the treatment of addiction and associated physical & emotional disorders. Comprehensive inpatient substance abuse treatment is provided through acute care (hospital based) detoxification and short-term rehabilitation; and residential (non-hospital based) detoxification, short-term and long-term rehabilitation programs. Specialized services are available for the dually diagnosed, Spanish speaking, and those living with HIV/AIDS. New Medical Recovery Unit is now open for patients requiring sub-acute hospitalization in a clean & sober environment. Located in East Norriton, Montgomery County, PA an 86-bed facility is situated within an expansive and tranquil wooded site minutes from nearby Philadelphia. Primarily serves patients from Philadelphia, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Schuylkill, York and other counties in Pennsylvania. Licensed, acute-care hospital approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
